Happy New Year.

Happy New Year.
Here in Japan, we have entered the year 2026.

Last year was marked by deep sadness with the passing of Ken (102). His loss was deeply felt by many.
As we begin this new year, we sincerely hope that everyone will be able to live in good health and peace.

At the same time, we strongly believe that the club must be operated in a manner that is clearly democratic, fair, and peaceful from the perspective of all members.
It is deeply regrettable that in 2025 there were instances of improper and unfair actions by certain individuals.

As we move forward into 2026, we firmly hope—and expect—that the club will never again be managed in an exclusive or monopolistic way by a limited group of people.
Transparency, fairness, and respect for democratic principles are essential for the future of our community.

A Message to All Concerned

It is perplexing that certain fundamental principles are not universally understood.

In amateur radio, cb radio, the role of a QSL manager—responsible for issuing QSL cards to confirm contacts—is of utmost importance.

Nevertheless, there are individuals serving as QSL managers who appear not to grasp even the most basic rules and responsibilities associated with this position.

Without accurate contact logs, a QSL manager cannot carry out their duties effectively.
To act as a manager without access to these essential records is, quite frankly, a contradiction in terms.

Let us all strive to uphold the standards that support our shared passion for radio communication.

R.I.P. 25AT102 Ken

I was informed of Ken’s(25AT102) passing by Mr. Mauro(1EK156).
On that day, I was fortunate enough to hear the news first from Mauro and had the opportunity to confirm it with Mr. Mori (25AT105).
When Mr. Mori inquired about the status of Ken’s obituary from the relevant people, he was told that about a week had passed since Ken’s death.
He became ill around September of last year and entered a facility.
As a result, the home radio station was closed.
We did not disclose this information because it concerns Ken’s personal affairs.
We apologize for this.
We would like to express our deepest condolences and pray for Ken’s soul.

Respect and gratitude

I would like to extend my most sincere apologies for the significant concern and inconvenience I have caused, as I have received a great many messages from various individuals.

To begin with, I would like to briefly clarify the intention behind my previous post.

There are numerous card issuance managers, the vast majority of whom perform their duties diligently and with the utmost professionalism, deserving of great respect. However, it has come to my attention that a small minority of individuals have failed to conduct their duties properly, with some even misappropriating postage fees.

In response to the actions of this small group, I regrettably made a remark in a manner that was intended as sarcasm. Unfortunately, this has angered and deeply disrespected those managers who have been carrying out their responsibilities with integrity.

For this, I offer my sincerest and most profound apologies.

I would like to convey my profound respect to those who oversee operations across numerous nations, as well as to the esteemed managers who have ensured the proper issuance of the cards. Henceforth, I shall endeavour to conduct myself with the greatest decorum so as to avoid any semblance of discourtesy.

exchange QSL card……

It is essential to understand the basic rules before proceeding.
Regarding the establishment of communication, both parties must confirm the call sign. Please note that a one-way call cannot be established. RS reports must also be exchanged.
It is against the rules to send a card before communication has been established.
I understand this issue because I have had the same experience in the past.

Recent thoughts.

QSLCard exchange used to be fun.
This was because the communication that emerged from chance was inspiring.
Nowadays, information is visible on social networking sites and clusters.
The level of difficulty has decreased and interest has gone down.
The number of appropriate operations (unreliable) has increased.
Proof of the operating radio station should be made public, and those that are not backed up should be considered fake.

I’ve just sent it.

It’s not good to arouse suspicion.
